How to Release Self-Limiting Beliefs
How often have you found yourself about to undertake an exciting new adventure or challenge, only to hear that little voice in the back of your head say “I can’t do this”, “I’m going to fail”, or “I don’t deserve this”?
Sometimes it’s not outside forces that keep us from achieving our goals, but rather the quiet, persistent whispers of our own self-limiting beliefs. These beliefs are invisible patterns embedded in your subconscious, shaped by your past experiences and the messages you receive from society. The great news is that these beliefs, once identified for what they are, you can rewrite them with something that helps elevate you to your highest self. Here’s how to release self-limiting beliefs and align with your highest frequency
1/ Identify the Limiting Energy Pattern
The first step is always awareness. Take some time in quiet reflection, either in meditation or journaling in a stream of consciousness. Ask yourself: “What belief am I holding that is keeping me from receiving my highest good?”. To help you on your way, here are some common self-limiting beliefs:
“I’m not good enough.”
“I don’t deserve love or success.”
“It’s too late for me to change now.”
“Money is hard to earn.”
“Stuff like that doesn’t happen for people like me.”
When you encounter a belief, write it down. Don’t judge it, just simply acknowledge it .
2/ Clear Your Space, Clear Your Mind
Since your home is a vision board, it’s possible that your environment is helping to anchor these self-limiting beliefs. If you're ready to release old beliefs, you must also release stagnant energy around you.
Declutter one area related to a limiting belief you have. For example, if your belief is “I’m not successful,” start by cleaning and refreshing your Success Direction.
Activate Light: Use crystals like clear quartz or amethyst in this area to help raise the energetic vibration.
Sound Clearing: Ring a bell, use Tibetan singing bowls, or clap in corners to disperse stuck energy
3/ Rewrite the Story
Now that you’ve brought the belief to light and shifted its energetic anchor, it’s time to rewrite the script! With a pen and a sheet of paper, transform the limiting belief into a high-frequency affirmation instead. For example, instead of “I’m not good enough”, write “I AM fully capable of offering my highest potential.”
Speak this new belief out loud every morning and night while visualizing golden light surrounding you. Speak this new belief any time you feel those old thoughts creeping back in, and feel the frequency shift in your body.
