Four Manifestation Hacks For Peaceful Travels
As someone who frequently travels all around the world for work, I like to think of myself as a pro. No matter how experienced you are though, travel can still have its stressful moments! To help attract protection and ensure a peaceful journey, here’s my exclusive travel routine:
1/ Before I step into a car, a train, or an airplane, I always do my Tubes of Light meditation. Not only does this help to calm and center my energy, it’s also fantastic for spiritual protection. As an extra bonus, I like to put the royal blue Tube of Light around my transportation vehicle (car, train or plane) for protection.
2/ If I’m traveling by myself or with my family or friends in the car, I spray some lavender air mist to help purify, both physically and spiritually, the air. If I’m traveling by train or airplane, I like to use a lavender essential oil roller on my wrists and pulse points and bring up the cleansing energy all around me.
3/ Once I’m comfortable in my seat, I ask for protection. Depending on your own religion or beliefs, you can ask for protection from the angels, the saints, from god, or any deities that you worship. Whoever you feel comfortable asking, ask them to protect the front, the back, the left, and the right of the vehicle.
4/ Right before we begin the journey, I always ask the Universe, “If there’s something wrong with this vehicle or with the journey ahead, please let it be known now”. For the most part, everything has always gone exactly to plan, but I’ll give you two examples of how this simple request has protected me in the past:
One time I was traveling around Oregon on a very small plane. I went through my routine as outlined above and finished by asking the Universe, “If there’s something wrong with this plane, please let it be known now”. The plane had begun its taxi on the runway and just as it was about to take-off, the pilot suddenly slammed on the brakes. Needless to say, this caused quite a stir amongst the passengers! The pilot came on the intercom and, in a rather shaky voice, apologized for the last-minute braking but noted that he’d suddenly noticed a red warning light on the dashboard. He said how lucky it was that he’d spotted it when it did because if he hadn’t, we definitely would have run into trouble whilst in the air.
Years ago, my friend and I had plans to drive from Belgium to Mont Blanc for a spiritual retreat. I’d never driven such that far before and I was anxious about it. To help ease my nerves, I asked the Universe “If there’s any reason why I shouldn’t drive, please let it be known now”. The night before we were due to leave, my car was broken into and the side windscreen completely smashed. I called the repair shop and was told that the earliest they could repair the windscreen was in three days' time. I took that as a message received loud and clear from the Universe! I knew that I wasn’t supposed to drive, but the hotel in Mont Blanc had already been booked and both my friend and I were so excited to go. I decided that if the trip was meant to be, a solution would come. Even with my car in the shop, I told my friend to be ready for 8AM the next day. Just as 7AM rolled around, I got a call from another friend who told me she’d had a dream that she was supposed to drive me somewhere. I immediately filled her in on the Mont Blanc retreat, the smashed windscreen, and the message from the Universe. She laughed, “I’m very familiar with Mont Blanc, so I guess I’m your solution! I’ll be there to pick you up shortly”. With my friend driving, we three had a fabulous time in Mont Blanc; the trip was meant to be, just not in the way I’d originally planned it!
