Always the Bridesmaid: How to Attract Love During Wedding Season

Have you ever heard the expression “Always the bridesmaid, never the bride”? What if weddings were actually the perfect place to meet that someone special? Everyone’s dressed to impress, you get to mingle with the wedding couple’s friends and family members, and everyone’s there to celebrate the joy of love. That seems like the perfect recipe for romance! 

Here are my best tips for attracting love during wedding season, with or without having to catch the bride’s bouquet. 

1/ Dress to Dazzle

Weddings are normally always a formal affair, meaning it’s essential to put in the extra time and effort to ensure you look your very best. At the very least, make sure your outfit is freshly laundered and pressed, your shoes are polished, and that you’re clean and smelling good. Remember, when you’re meeting someone for the first time, it only takes a few seconds to form a snap decision about them so make sure you’re making a good first impression!

If you wear make-up, make sure that you’re touching up your lipstick regularly. Taking sips of the champagne toast, eating at the reception dinner, kissing the cheeks of new and old friends - all these things can smear your lipstick and leave your pout looking less than perfect! If you’re looking to attract love, the mouth is definitely a part of your face that you’ll want to accentuate so go with a rose-colored lipstick that’s the perfect mix of pink and red.

As for your eyes, they are the window to the soul after all, so be sure to accentuate them in a way that’s most flattering to you and your skin-tone. Avoid going too dark or black with your eyeshadow as this can drag down the energy of your vibrational field. Personally, I love aqua blue eyeshadow so much that it’s become one of my trademarks over the years! 

In regard to accessories, bring a small heart-shaped rose quartz crystal with you (either in your bag or placed inside your bouquet if you’re a bridesmaid) to connect in with that romantic, loving energy flow. With it being such a joyous celebration of love, everyone’s in high spirits and you can feel the positive energy radiate from everyone as they dance. If you’re looking to use your dancing to help attract that special someone, avoid dancing in the center of the dance floor and instead, dance towards the side near the front so that people are still able to see you if they’re sat down. Dance with grace and enjoy moving your body to the rhythm. A word of caution though: limit yourself to just a drink or two because any more than that and you’ll be flirting with a dancefloor disaster!
